Yaquina Art Gallery Wall Spotlight Show featuring the artwork of Patti Johnson and Gloria Romanelli – June 22nd to July 5th

YAA Spotlight

In a two week Wall Spotlight Show from June 22nd to July 5th, the Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the artwork of Patti Johnson and Gloria Romanelli. The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 5 pm every day. Patti Johnson has been painting for 41 years and currently teaches Oil and acrylic painting for the Yaquina Art Association. 

Patti welcomes beginners and advanced painters. Her specialty is portraits but can help you with most any subject. She has been a member of Yaquina Art Association since 1979.

You can attend the YAA Oil and Acrylic Class on Tuesdays 9 am to 12 pm at our new learning annex behind the First Baptist Church at 208 NW 6th, Newport, OR (by Bike Newport). 

All Yaquina Art Association classes are free, so come and learn something new or re-discover your joy of painting.

Other free classes include:

Watercolor painting on Mondays from 9 am to 11 am

Pastels on Tuesdays from 1 pm to 3 pm

Colored Pencil and Drawing Wednesdays from 10 am to 12:30 pm

Photography Club meets at the Newport Library Classroom on 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 7 pm

Beading Classes are at the annex every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 12:30 to 3 pm.

Gloria Romanelli is a self-taught oil painter from Lincoln City, Oregon. She has been a member of the Yaquina Art Association for 3 years and volunteers a lot of her time keeping the gallery looking beautiful.
