Clay or painting? Beginner or advanced? The Yaquina Art Association has a class for you! We’ve been dedicated to making art education fun and accessible to everyone. All of the classes are free to attend and open to anyone who has an interest in arts.
All of our classes are currently offered on a walk-in basis (no registration required). Seats will be filled on a first-come, space available basis.
We offer classes in a wide range of media including:
- Watercolor
- Oil/Acrylic
- Pastels
- Colored Pencil & Drawing
- China Painting & Clay
- Photography*
All classes are held in the second floor classroom at the Newport Visual Art Center.
* The YAA Photographers Group meets at 7pm on the first and third Mondays each month at the Newport Visual Arts Center.
