Yaquina Art Gallery Pedestal Spotlight Show featuring the artwork of Ann Nicholson and Christine Collins – December 22nd to January 4th
In a two week Pedestal Spotlight Show from December 22nd to January 4th, the Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the artwork of Ann Nicholson and Christine Collins.The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 4 pm every day.
Ann Nicholson will be displaying her framed watercolor original paintings as well as 5×7″ matted prints and some larger canvas prints of her prior works. Ann is a local artist who, besides the YAA Gallery, has her work in various shops in the area. She also attends the Yachats Farmers Market in the spring and summer months when weather permits. The picture is of a painting that will be in the show called “Betsy’s Dahlias II”. It was inspired by the beautiful flowers sold at the market by a neighboring vendor.
In the past Christine Collins has helped display her fellow artist’s paintings in the Yaquina Art Gallery. In this show she will be showing her own watercolor work.
