Yaquina Art Gallery Spotlight Show featuring artwork of Patti Johnson and Sally Morris–March 17th to April 6th
In a two week Spotlight Show from March 31st to April 13th, the Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the artwork of Oil & Acrylic Artist Patti Johnson and Watercolor Artist Sally Morris. The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 4 pm every day.
Patti Johnson has been painting for 40 years and currently teaches Oil and acrylic painting for the Yaquina Art Association in the upstairs classroom in the Visual Art Center. The free YAA Oil and Acrylic classes are every Tuesday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
Patti will help beginners to advanced painters. Her specialty is portraits but can help you with most any subject. She has been a member of Yaquina Art Association since 1979.
Sally Morris has been traveling around the world most of her adult life. During her adventures she has taken advantage of every opportunity to learn more about art.
Along with her love of the arts Morris has a quirky look at what she paints. She is the only artist at the Yaquina Art Association to show her annual turkey painting every November for the past five years.
