Oil and Acrylic Class Featured Artists at the YAA Gallery

Jan. 12-22 the Oil and Acrylic class from YAA will be featured in a two week show at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery in Nye Beach.  The show will be open from 11 am to 4 pm daily and is located at 789 NW Beach Drive in Newport.

Anyone looking to develop there art skills is encouraged to attend the Oil and Acrylics class free of charge.  The class meets in the upstairs classroom at the Visual Art Center (the Yellow Building) in the Nye Beach Turnaround.  Classes are Tuesdays from 9 am to 11 am.  The class is also looking for artists who would like to volunteer to teach a class periodically or one time to help the students learn new techniques.  The class is relaxed with just a few members and is looking to expand.  If you think you are interested please contact Patti Johnson at 541-867-7675.

The Yaquina Art Association is dedicated to teaching and furthering the pursuit and appreciation  of visual arts and crafts.  The gallery offers members a chance to show artwork that is offered for sale.  The gallery has many mediums for sale including oils, acrylics, colored pencil, glass, clay, watercolor, photography, jewelry and cards as well as handmade items like scarfs, hats, walking sticks, and crafts.
