Arts and Crafts Sale

There will be a fundraiser Arts and Crafts Sale beginning Feb. 27th through Sunday March 1, 2015 from 10 am. to 5 pm at the Visual Art Center.  There will be demonstrations by member artists, food and lots of framed and unframed arts and crafts sold. Proceeds are donated to the YAA scholarship fund  to further the arts by providing scholarships to kids art programs as well as a college artist and to members in Lincoln County.  There will be a melted crayon make and take project for the young (and young at heart). Food that will be available for purchase in the upstairs classroom will include hotdogs, chili, chips, potato salad, homemade pies, cookies, brownies and coffee.YAA offers free classes to anyone wishing to learn or improve their artistic talent.

March 1 from 10 am to 4 pm there will be a “leftover” art sale of art collected over the last 10 plus years.  This sale will be in the 3rd floor classroom and proceeds will help the Visual Art Center.  It is also a chance to pick up a piece of VAC  history.
