Opening Reception for Spotlight Lincoln County Art Show
There will be an opening reception for “Spotlight Lincoln County” art show on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011 from 1 to 3 pm at the Yaquina Art Association Gallery located at 789 NW Beach Drive, Nye Beach Turnaround in Newport Oregon. The opening reception will be open to the public and give everyone a chance to meet many of the artists that are displaying art in the Spotlight Lincoln County show. The non juried show was open to any artists in Lincoln County and provides the community with an opportunity to display their artwork in a gallery setting. The show will run daily through October 30 and is open from 11 am to 4 pm. Refreshments will be served and information will be given on classes held through he Yaquina Art Association. There will also be a People’s Choice award announced. Proceeds from this event will go towards art scholarships to help further the arts. Other artwork, cards, crafts and jewelry is available for purchase as well.
