YAAP All Member Photogragher Show in April

The Yaquina Art Association Photographers will be the featured artists at a one month show in the Runyan Gallery of the Visual Art Center located in Nye Beach for the month of April. The show will open on April 2 through April 27th and will be open from 11 am to 5 pm daily except Mondays.

The YAAP has over 60 members and about half of those members will bring in several pieces of artwork that can be purchased off the wall or enjoyed by the community. There will be a peoples choice award presented after taking votes from visitors to the gallery during the month of April.

There will be an reception and a chance to meet the local photographers on April 12th from 5-7 pm. There will be refreshments and a chance to visit the paper arts festival closing reception at the same time.

The YAAP meets on the first and third Monday evenings at 7 pm in the upstairs classroom of the VAC. The meetings are open to the public and to all levels of experience. Programs with learning opportunities are offered on the first Monday of each month. Critiquing of photographs and opportunities for competition are given on the third Monday each month October through May.
