Spotlight Show Georgia Beard January 14 through January 27
Yaquina Art Association Gallery presents Georgia Beard’s art for a two week spotlight show from January 14th to January 27th. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily and is located at 789 NW Beach Drive in the Nye Beach Turnaround in Newport, Oregon.
Award winning artist Georgia Beard began her artistic journey after retiring in 1996 and moving from San Jose, CA to Yachats. Georgia now lives in Yachats on the beautiful Oregon coast with her husband and Yorkie. During her professional career Georgia worked as a Executive Secretary, Administrative Assistant, and Purchasing Agent (Buyer) with General Electric (GE), IBM, and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). She is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon (WSO), a founding member of Yachats Arts Guild (YAG), and a member of Yaquina Arts Association (YAA). She is a multi media artist working with watercolor, pastel, acrylic, oil, and pencil.
