Watercolor Artists Featured in YAA Spotlight Show

YAA Spotlight

There will be a two week spotlight show featuring the artwork of the Yaquina Art Association watercolor class from December 27th through January 9th, 2015. The Spotlight show will feature the works of 18-21 artists and will be shown in the YAA Gallery at 789 NW Beach Drive in Newport, Oregon.

The Watercolor class meets on Monday mornings from 9-11:30 am in the upstairs classroom of the Visual Art Center off the Nye Beach turnaround. They encourage new members or visitors. There are usually 18-21 artists there to watch and learn from. The artists volunteer to take turns teaching the class. At the end of each class, those wishing for instructional critiques can receive helpful tips to improve their skills. There are 13 regular members that take turns teaching. Drop ins are welcome and the class has a few supplies available to loan. They also have watercolor paper for purchase at a very reasonable price. YAA is dedicated to furthering the arts and provides free classes to members of YAA.
