Yaquina Art Gallery Spotlight Shows featuring: Sally Morris and sisters Penny Billinger & Susan Hatfield–November 4th to November 17th

YAA Spotlight

In a two week Spotlight Show from November 4th to November 17th, the Yaquina Art Association will be featuring the art of Sally Morris and sisters Penny Billinger & Susan Hatfield. The Yaquina Art Association Gallery is located in Nye Beach at 789 NW Beach Drive. Hours of operation are 11 am to 4 pm every day.

Sally Morris has been traveling around the world most of her adult life.  During her adventures she has taken advantage of every opportunity to learn more about art.

Along with her love of the arts Morris has a quirky look at what she paints. She is the only artist at the Yaquina Art Association to show her annual turkey painting every November for the past five years. Some of these will be displayed at her show.

The title of her show is “Along the Way.” Many of the works of art have a story to tell. The titles may give you a clue about the story or Sally may be volunteering during your visit and tell you in person.

Penny Billinger and Susan Hatfield enjoy to hunt and collect materials to use in their art projects especially  from the beach and mountains.  Their exhibit  will feature photography, mosaics and recycled found art.
