YAA Spotlight

December 27 through Jan. 9, 2016 the YAA watercolor class will be featured on the center walls of the Yaquina Art Association Gallery in a two week show.  There are approximately 25 watercolorists that will be showing artwork from 11 am to 4 pm daily at the gallery located at 789 NW Beach Drive in Newport Oregon.

The watercolor class meets every Monday from 9-11:30 am. This is one of the largest classes that the YAA holds.  There is a wide variety of levels in the class and anyone is invited to attend.  The class is free of charge.  Members in the class have a unique opportunity to volunteer to take a week to help the rest of the class learn something that they would like to teach.  Students sign up to teach and provide some instruction to the rest of the class.  At the end of the class there is usually a kind critique offered to help students improve.
