YAA Photographers Present: Still-Life and Painting with Light Photography Demonstration

YAA Spotlight

Photographers looking for a creative outlet on a dark and dreary or wet and soggy afternoon might want to think about the wonderful world of Table Top Still Life Photography.   There are lots of subjects one can photograph, from baking supplies, dried flowers, that antique purse grandma left you to your old, muddy tennis shoes.  The list is endless!  But how to light these indoor subjects usually keeps a lot of photographers from digging out their cameras.

Monday, February 2nd from 7pm to 9pm, the Yaquina Art Association Photographers group will be offering an evening of demonstration and education on “Still-Life’s Painted with Light”.  The class will be held in the upstairs classroom in the Visual Art Center located in the Nye Beach Turnaround.  Local Master Photographer Vern Bartley will present a live demonstration and lecture on the art of Composing and Painting with Light, with subjects that we live with every day.  The program will be an hour long with plenty of time for questions and answers to fill out the evening.

Open to the public and no charge…………. Donations appreciated.
